Dear all, I am from Dubai. I am using Linksys WAG200G wireless device. It was working fine. The telephone line connected to my WAG200G. I can browse directly thru my laptop after connecting thru Wi-Fi. But recently Etisalat (UAE provider) fixed a common box type device for Evison,Telephone,Fax and internet. The device name is Huawei EcoLife OT550 And now the device is connected to my WAG200G modem via cable. If I want to go to internet from my laptop, I need to dial the Etisalat connection (PPoE). Then I have to open the browser. Why like that? Is there any way to connect directly to internet? But before the above said Eitisalat device installation, I no need to dial the Etisalat connection. Starightawy I can browse once the wi-Fi is connected. Is there any setup to do in WAG200g device? Thanks Amanullah ag_aman2004@yahoo.com

You do not need to type the username and password on the laptop..You need to do the settings for PPPoE on the router. Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop). In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...In the Username & in Password use admin in lower case... Now,under Internet Connection type, choose PPPoE and type the username and password. Also check the option "Keep Alive" and click on save settings. Now,check the Status.
