From the standby screen, press the left soft key to select MENU. Use the navigation pad to scroll through the
menus and sub-menus.Under Display menu click on Language.During menu mode, select OK or SAVE (press the left soft key) to save your changes. Select CANCEL to cancel your changes. Press the Power or End Call key to cancel changes and return to the standby screen.Follow this steps to change the Language of your Handset. 

Setting the Language on the Handset
1. Select MENU.
2. Select DISPLAY.

3. Select OK.
4. Select LANGUAGE.
5. Select OK.
6. Use the navigation pad to select the language you want.
7. Select OK when finished.
Changing the Wallpaper of the Display Screen
1. Select MENU.
2. Select DISPLAY.
3. Select OK.
4. Select WALLPAPER.
5. Select OK.
6. Use the navigation pad to select the wallpaper you want.
7. Select OK when finished.

If you are not able to change the Language to English, then i think the Amazon has send you the Handset, which dosent support English.
