Hi, I've tried running the setup and adding addtional PC's using the install CD each time and regardless of the PC O/S and other securtiy settings disabled the software doesn't find the device even though the device has an IP and I can browse to it. I've set the device up with out the CD setup and it all works fine, the only issue I have is the backup and import media software won't install because the software can't find the device. Is there anyway these apps can be installed individiually with out using the CD??? Can linksys supply these apps seperately? Thanks

Yes you can. On the setup CD for the NMH, look for a file SETUP.RES (should be about 120 MB). You can extract this file using WINRAR and once extracted, there will be certain applications you can install on your computer manually. Two of which are the Backup Tool (Filename is backuptool.exe) and Import Tool (Filename is LinksysTools.exe) You can try doing this method if you don't have the media hub with you.

If you run the setup CD for the media hub, there should be an option for you to create a map drive for it. But in any case, try this. 1. Click Start and RUN 2. Input on the field \\IPAddressofthemediahub 3. The next window will open the 3 shared folders of the media hub. (media, backup and FTP). You can right click any of the 3 shared folders and click MAP NETWORK DRIVE. Select a MAP Drive you want and finish. Hope this helps.

Hi I had similar problems (error 107). After temporarily deactivating my virus scanner / firewall the installation went fine.
