My new WRT160N router cannot connect wirelssly to the Inernet. I have set it up several times and my computer connects to the router, but the router cannot connect to the Internet. The message in 'Windows Nework Diagnostics - Vista" says: Network diagnostics pinged the remote host but did not receieve a response. Cannot communicate with Primary DNS Server (192.168.1.1).

try this, connect your pc up with the modem directly..can you get out into the world? if yes then start>run> type cmd> type "ipconfig /all" it should show at least two dns servers copy those address down and put into the router on the home page If no is your answer then either the problem is within your network settings on our pc or your providers dns servers are down or misrouted. let us know if that helps or not so we can move foward.
