I have a Linksys WRT54GX2 and I can not log on to it through the Web-based Utility. I have reset the router with the reset button, but get a Password Error whenever I try to log onto the router through the Web-Based Utility.

Save both files at a convinient location . run the tftp.exe file and enter the "server" as 192.168.1.1 and the password "admin" click on the small box thingy with the three dots and browse to the location where you saved the .bin file.hit upgrade. once done,reset the router for a minute and then try to access .
