I am same problem. Occasionally, the bandwidth falls off. It is as if the router is limiting the bandwidth. When re-connected, then again, all working at full speed. I have PPPoE connection is 30 Mbit down and 20 Mbit Upload. When you limit the bandwidth, you can go down from 25 Mbit, 13 Mbit. The bandwidth my home, and the test server is stable! I have optic, PPPoE connect. (DIGIcable) if I reconnect PPPoE connect, the speed is temporarily ok, but few hours is down. This is: this Certainly no connection error, the router without this never happened!

Same problems here, too. I observe gradual speed degradation (usually over the course of a day or so) that is immediately cured by resetting the router. I've tried all the tips I've come across on this forum but nothing has helped. I also had a long conversation with Linksys tech support ( via IM). They weren't able to recommend anything I hadn't already tried. They did suggest that I might have a bad router and have sent a new one, which ought to arrive soon. I'm not hopeful, however. Really, really disappointed in this router thus far.

Yet here owes: If I switch it on the log, then the ping 1-2ms the neat jump up onto 15. That's normal? Did somebody else observe this?

This is Upnp issue! If I turn off Upnp, there are no more speed problems! But it is difficult to get along without UPnP. It is essential that a router is included in this feature! Please correct this as soon as possible!

Yea I am having the same issue, with connectivity dropping. The Speed is great, using my media server, well it's USB over WiFi I'm not expecting much there. I bought this router for it's stability, linux, and mac compatibilty. For some reason after only having it a few months, it started having connection issues. Hence my replacing it with the WRT160NL. I know it's not my internet connection either, because when I directly connect my Ethernet to my MB Pro everything is fine. I've tweaked every possible setting I can on the router and yet connection intermittently drops, not every few minutes mind you. But it's seriously annoying to be in the middle of something and every half hour or so, signal drops right off.
