Current setup:  WRT160N downstream from a BEFSR41
Linksys router, which in turn is hooked up to a  Comcast cable modem.
(Connecting upstream from the other router is not an option.)  My computers
connect wirelessly and via CAT 5 to the WRT160 but cannot reach the
internet.  The CAT 5 plugged into the internet port tests 4.0 on two
laptops.  I have power cycled everything, turned off the windows firewall,
and tried to reset the internet connection via the Linksys and windows
software.  Am I missing something?

Kudos!

Are you able to go online through BEFSR41..? If not then, first of all you need to configure BEF..Check this link. Once you configure and able to go online using BEFSR41 then, you can connect WRT to BEF using an Ethernet cable. For cascading both the router, use this link.

Great Advice!  I changed the WRT's IP address and it connected without any further problems.  Thanks again!
