Hello,
I am running two computers on Windows XP. The host has a WRT54G wireless router and I'm getting the internet on it and both computers are connected. I cannot however get the other computer connected to the internet with the WUSB54GC.
I keep getting a limited or no connectivity message. Any Help? Thanks!

if u have a wireless security enabled on the router , make sure that you enter the encryption key correctly while connecting to the wireless network....
if this is all correct and still the same problem , then go to www.linksys.com/download and download the latest drivers for the adapter...uninstall the adapter completely from the computer...and install only the drivers for it...

I have  A NETGEAR Wireless Home Router on my main computer (XP) and I am trying to set up A Linksys Compact Wireless-G USB Adapter (WUSB54GC V.1.2) on my other computer (XP). It is all setup, however I am getting the message "You are connected to the access point, but the Internet cannot be found" . I also have a qiestion about Configuring the security on the adapter. When I try to enable security, how do I know if I utilize WEP, WEP Personal or PSK2 and finally what kind of algorithm (TKIP or AES) encryption
should I use ?  Thanks for any help on these subjects

I have the same problem. At first I was having issues with the logon screen. So I uninstalled the software for the adapter and just installed the drivers. That solved the log on screen issues. However, I have a PC and a laptop and ever since I started using this wireless adapter with my PC, but laptop all of the sudden cannot connect to the internet. My laptop has a signal, there is no interference from the firewall, and I can connect to my router to change the settings, but not to the internet. Can anyone help?

I have the same problems with the WUSB54GC. Only i use a E-tech router. The wireless device in my laptop (build-in) doesn't have any problem to connect to my router. When i connect the wusb54gc in my pc, there is connection with the router, but no internet. I use wep 64bit encryption. anybody with a solution?

I've got a WUSB54G...adapter with a WRT54G router.  I haven't had a problem since I got it but the last few days my adapter will connect to the access point but not to the internet, and it will constantly reconnect and disconnect.  what do I need to do?

I've run my Trend Micro PC-Cillin and Ad-Aware continuously and updated them to check if something had gotten on my computer and changed settings, no luck there.

Try changing wireless channel of router to 1,6,9,11 and check which is best for you.

how do I change it?  I'm on channel 6 right now.  but I don't wanna change it and screw up my other settings.  I don't even know my passkey, step-dad set it up and he has to many other problems to worry about, much less think I screwed something up.
