Does anyone know how or when the WUSB600N v2 network adapters will be available to purchase. I am looking to purchase one because the v2 adapters have the latest drivers out and would most likely be more capatable with Windows 7 when it comes out in a couple of months. Thanks

Oh ok thanks for the reply. I guess I missed that. That's good to know though I will definitely check newegg.com to see what they have.

I found that also. That could mean that version 1 will never get them.

I have a WUSB600n V1 on this computer and I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 'clean' I had to do the clean installation because it was upgrading Vista 64-bit Ultimate. The adapter is working, I did nothing at all to make it work, it just came up. So apparently W7 includes the drivers for V1. Now I'm installing Windows 7 'clean' on a another computer. I'd rather do an upgrade. But the Vista it's replacing is 32-bit, and the computer is capable of 64-bit, so again I can't do an upgrade. I specifically bought a WUSB600N because of the good experience with it on the first computer, and I knew the Netgear I had been using was not supported in W7, Unfortunately Newegg sent me a V2 this time. Much to my surprise it's been a total disaster so far. It's idiotic that they didn't rename the device when they totally change the way it operates. I'm restoring that system now to start over from scratch. I've downloaded the drivers from Linksys again, maybe they will work this time. I'll report back if the pigs fly...

Tried to edit my post but can't seem to do that, so I'm replying to myself instead. Look in this thread: http://forums.linksysbycisco.com/linksys/board/message?board.id=Wireless_Adapters&thread.id=23594 for a message from stryker_tc. First make sure you remove any drivers you have installed, then follow his instructions. I now have wireless service in Windows 7 using the WUSB600N V2. My opinion of Linksys has fallen considerably during this ordeal.
