I had 2 desktops before. I had the Linksys wireless router on my Dell and the adapter on my Digital Storm built computer.  I gave away my Dell computer and I got a laptop. I'd like the adapter to be on the laptop now and the router on the desktop DS computer.

The problem is, I cannot remove the software from my desktop computer and it thinks it's the adapter computer although I've installed the router software and connected it.  I can't even get internet on the desktop computer where the modem is connected to through the router. In other words, my computer is not seeing my router at all and only sees the disabled and not plugged in adapter.  For the life of me, I cannot get this software to delete. I've tried everything. How does one remove the adapter software from the computer you no longer want the adapter software on? Or just tell me how to get the router software to over ride the adapter software. This is becoming very frustrating.

Thank you very much for your help! :smileyhappy:

Have you tried Uninstalling the Software from "Add Remove Programs" which is Under Control Pannel. Locate the Linksys Adapter software and Click on Uninstall/Remove.
