Trying to install WMP54G v4.0 on XP SP3. I have tried all three PCI slots. Removing driver RT2500.SYS system will boot. Put it back and BSOD Error:driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (Mod note: Edited subject to keep threads from stretching. Thanks!) Message Edited by JOHNDOE_06 on 10-27-2008 01:05 PM

I physically removed my Linksys WMP54Gv4 from the PCI slot to get the error to go away. It's better than the BSOD I was getting at startup at the moment. Clearly I still hope to regain wireless access so I'm going to try to fix this by installing the Ralink driver. I don't really care for lmgtfy URL's - that just seems a little too noob... Why not a direct URL to Ralink? Seriously, if you're gonna make the effort to post - why not make it actually useful. I'm in the process of trying this site: http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=1 I'll post again if it actually works.
