Hello Can anyone please help me with this adapter? I am running windows XP and I can install it but I cannot connect to the internet. I have read other post and I tried to follow the directions but I don't understand how to only install the drives and use windows to set it up. If you could give me a little more detail I could figure it out. This thing is driving me crazy Thank you very much

If you had already installed the adapter on the computer ....try this setting..... Click start >> All programs >> Linksys wireless G adapter >> click uninstall >> insert the Disc of the adapter & exit out of setup wizard >> unplug & replug the adapter>> you will seefound new hardware >> install the drivers of the adapter from that wizard ....... It will automatically enable the windows wireless configuration to connect to network.....

When I check for available networks on the icon it tells me there is no available networks. But I know there is. I just need to configure it.

hello there, Did you install the driver before you plugged in the wireless? if so look at your bottom tool bar if their is something that looks like a signal indicator(might be green even) right click on it....their should be an option to use windows wireless utility click that..it will disable the lynksis monitor..then click on your icon near the same place(looks like a monitor with a red X next to it) and select view wireless networks...that might help Good luck

Did you every get connected to the internet? I am having the same problem. When I first installed the system the internet connection worked and a couple of weeks ago, it just stoped working and I can not get reconnected. I have tried reinstalling the adapter and I have updated my router. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
