Hello all: I have an interesting question that I was hopeing someone could assist with. I have a WCG200 cable modem/wireless router that appears to be broadcasting a wireless signal, even though it is disabled in the administration section. I noticed this after adding a wireless access point to my home network (in order to take advantage of WPA2 Security). After disabling the Wireless Network on the WCG200 cable modem/wireless router, I found that I was still able to see the wireless network on my laptop. I have a DELL Inspiron E1505 that has a Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card installed. I am also able to connect to the wireless network for my WCG200 cable modem/wireless router, even though it is disabled. Has anyone come across this and does anyone know how to "really" disable my wireless network on my WCG200?
